These little things fit on the stylus and add a much-needed pop of color to a plain white Apple stylus. They're definitely a good little backup in case you lose your cap. Although I prefer magnetic caps. It's a nice clicking sound that I love! Instead, I used another company's magnetic replacement as it also came with a rubber protector that keeps the cap in place when removed. However, if I lose the magnetic cap (which I think is inevitable since I travel a lot) I will use it as a backup. If this cake had a way to attach the cap to the pen (like many other non-Apple caps do) I'd probably use that instead of the other options just because it adds that color. Unfortunately I need a place to put the cap when using the pen. It's just not necessary, because without it I'll definitely lose my composure again! One more note. The Apple Pen costs $100. Apple will ship a replacement, but it costs $10 and you'll need to make an appointment at the Genius Bar. So annoying and stupid to make an appointment. They should only sell replacement caps at a reasonable price (not 1/10th the cost of a pen, but somewhere between $3 and $5, or 3 for $10). I am very angry at Apple for this stupidity!
