TOMSIN Metal Buttons For PS4 Controller, Aluminum Metal Thumbsticks Analog Grip & Bullet Buttons & D-Pad (Bronze) Review

After watching a YouTube video explaining how to take apart my Dual Shock 4, I managed to install these pieces no problem! The color looks super cool with my original DS4, the analog sticks feel great, the d-pad has a cool texture to it, and the 9mm bullet details for the buttons is incredibly cool. The buttons’ edges are a bit sharp, but that hasn’t become a problem yet.Overall, I’m extremely happy with my purchase, and will probably mod more of my controllers in the near future!

Don't usually take the time to review but.I have to say these are an exceptional value and very easy to install as long as you take your time.Good fit. No rubbing off the base on the joy sticks once installed like some other users have stated Also very comfortable to use all around.The 9mm buttons are a sweet touch and being slightly raised seem to be quite advantageous as it requires less effort to press.

It was a cheap way to extend the life of my controller which I had rubbed through the original joysticks. Watch a You Tube Video or two before starting. You will need tweezers for removing some parts. It helped me to have some type of magnification, particularly when I accidentally knocked off one of the pin covers and needed to put it back on. It took about 15 minutes including watching a video and dropping a few parts on the floor.

I've got a gen 1 dualshock 4. The directional pad and the analog sticks fit perfectly. Didn't put the shell casings on so can't speak to those but I'm sure they're fine.Really really like the feel of these sticks and buttons. Should be able to zoom in on the picture I posted and see the raised lines that go across. I'm sure they don't do anything but it looks cool and feels cool on my thumb. The thumb sticks are great. Had to replace the original ones that got warn down. Not too difficult to install. I highly recommend a magnetized precision screwdriver to take out and put back the small screws. The screwdriver in the set takes a while and it’s hard to get them flush with the controller since the handle is small and hard to grip to get them fully tightened.

Pros:Sticks are excellent easy to install and comes with everything you need.They feel like quality metal.The grip pattern is great and they don’t stick up too high.The D-pad having some texture is also a fantastic feature.Cons:As you can see I didn’t use the buttons. They stuck way up out of the fact of the controller and didn’t really fit well. I didn’t include a pic but the buttons on a PS4 controller have 4 little prongs in the back. This is the first time I've ever modded a controller and it wasn't as difficult as I thought it would be. The thumbsticks seem to be a bit taller than the original, but it's not a big deal. My husband loves the look of it and he's been using it all week without any problems. The only thing I will say is that the vibration is quite a bit louder now, since the buttons are metal and not plastic. Might have to mod all our controllers now!

All the buttons fit well, however they also don't perform like the stock buttons unfortunately. The d-pad does is much stiffer and the face buttons make a slapping noise Everytime you hit them. If you're not going to use the controller for fighting games I think it's worth a purchase.

The look these metal buttons added to my controller was awesome! These were a great enhancement and easy to install. That's my feedback!

The hole in which the joysticks slide into place with is too tight so they were incredibly hard to get on and into place. And now that it is put back together the joysticks don’t bounce back to center like they used to so most games are now incredibly difficult to play. This has become my movie watching controller unfortunately. I miss having two gaming controllers.

These look very nice and feel amazing. Only one problem my Kontrolfreak’s wouldn’t fit on the analog stick but it still looks amazing and I really recommend getting these.

Really fantastic feeling and look. Was super useful that it included the screws, mini Phillips, and even a plastic pry tool to keep from marring up the controller. Way better than expected!

Product is nice install is not super easy but not hard, sticks are taller than normal ones and have deep thumb well. Buttons are comfortable although a little loose and d pad is perfect although about a millimeters to small on arrows

It is not too difficult to install but I did have to use my old screws instead of the replacement screws provided as the ones provided were too large on the face of the screw. The buttons look absolutely amazing on my black controller and I dont see the joysticks ever wearing out as they are aluminum.

Is just so cool how do you can chance the look in the PS4 controllers. I love it.The product is exactly how Tomsin show in the description and pictures,the quality if good.

Got this just for the sticks on my scuf. Works great, kinda slick on my fingers but nothing getting kontrol freaks doesn't fix.

These are GREAT! the plastic ones were breaking and starting to give me problems. Got this set and I am glad I did. Now I do not have to buy a new controller. I will be buying one or two mor for my other ones that I thought were broken for good!

Only reason I didn't give 5 stars was the lack of instructions. It tells you to go on YouTube and look it up Decreased sensitivity might render the accessories unusable.
