My daughter hated lying on her stomach. I would force at least five minutes a day. I saw all the great reviews about how it got kids to stop hating being on their stomachs and I bought it. It was fine at first, but after three months as her neck muscles got stronger I stopped using it. It is imperative that they only spend time on their stomachs on a flat surface so that they learn not only to lift but also to arch, rock and roll and this pillow prevents that. Due to the price and the fact that I've only been using it for a month, between 2 and 3 months, and since she's only smothered her face with it in that time, I don't recommend this pillow.
