This dress is designed for a slim and taller kid. I bought a size 4-6 for a 3.5 year old who is probably in the 75th percentile for height and weight. The dress itself fitted perfectly, but the sleeves were ridiculously tight despite the fabric reaching from elbow to wrist. There is a wire hanger at the bottom of the skirt that makes walking and sitting difficult, so I took it off. The dress looks the same as in the photo. The waistband with petals has a velcro fastener that will stick to the skirt's mesh if you're not careful. Sleeve length from shoulder to wrist is 14.25 inches. The length of stretch fabric from top of elbow to wrist is 8.5 inches. Sleeve width from elbow 7.50 cm. The sleeve is 5.75 inches wide at the wrist and has no stretch due to the piping around the hem. The width of the skirt at the bottom is 60 cm. The length of the dress from the neckline to the floor is 34 cm. The belt is adjustable from 19 to 22 inches. There is no opening at the back, which makes the dress difficult to put on and take off. Pros: Amazing detail on the dress - it's beautiful. Soft inside - the child did not complain of itching or scratching. Cons: Difficult to put on and take off, needs adult help. Sleeves need to be made wider. Yes, the fabric stretches, but not that much. This is not a play dress that will sit a growing child for long; if you buy a larger size, it will be too long; The correct size I think I bought will probably outgrow it in 3 months. The hoop at the bottom of the skirt makes walking and sitting difficult. That wand on the front was a big disappointment. Children can't read "The magic wand is not included".
