That's not exactly what I would use "alone" as a wallet! That makes me laugh. This is a very flat open nylon bag with small inner and outer pockets that can hold a large bag or bag. It makes sense. My only complaint is that it feels very heavy for something so small. I love how it keeps things in place and makes me feel a lot more organized. Of course it's easier to find things. Too bad I chose white or some other light color now that I have it. I really thought at the time that I could actually use it as a wallet, but you really wouldn't either! A lighter color can make it easier to see in a darker or black bag. My bag has a dark gray lining so it's quite dark. However, this will keep things in order so I can just see how things are going in a week or so. Oh, it also makes changing wallets a little quicker! Or simply transfer the contents of the bag to a beach bag!
