This item is significantly more expensive than other powerline adapters and offers great speed. I know you shouldn't expect what it says on the box, especially from a powerline adapter, but wow compared to other powerline adapters I've had in the past, the price totally outweighs the performance. My download speed was below 15MB/s and at the very bottom I connected directly to my router at 800MB/s. Compared to the PLP2000 I had previously, which was $100 less and had a download speed of 50 Mbps, this product doesn't compare at all. The Wi-Fi network was just as terrible as connecting directly to the powerline adapter. If you're looking for powerline, look elsewhere.
