I'm guessing zero quality control. You might get a 'good' one, might not. The one I got was filled and put in a Zippo case. And stuck. Using pliers to get it out and hearing a hissing sound of the butane leaking out. Brought it into better light and you see the fill valve is off center, defective, and was leaking. I'll try one with better ratings next.
