A year ago for Father's Day I received an inferior 'rechargeable' version of this product, I liked the idea but unfortunately it didn't last long. When I charged it, it wasn't holding a charge... Plus, who wants to think about charging their S&P shakers?! Anyway, I found this one and decided to give it a try because it uses batteries instead. Use it every day while cooking and at the table. I like that I can adjust the pepper grind as different dishes require a finer grind. Good product. Highly recommended.
