I needed a case that was large enough to fit my WD Black P10 drive and had adequate padding and protection and it fitted just right. Since my drive is about 1/4 inch thicker than most other external drives, the case is a little tight fitting when storing the USB cable in a mesh pocket and zipping it closed. This does not affect the protection of the drive. but I'm concerned that this might put too much pressure on any SD cards stored in the interior padding. The strap and carabiner are solid and well made, but I doubt I'll be using them much. The exterior EVA material seems durable, with just enough flexibility to add extra shock absorption. The top of the case is not as shown in the product description. It has a raised "H" pattern. It doesn't really matter to me as I knew this from previous reviews Purchasing. I am happy.
