First of all I would like to warn you that I am not a professional artist and "seasoned amateur" will probably still be a stretch. At the same time, in my opinion, this canvas turned out to be quite good. From the look of the canvas fibers, the surface texture, and the fact that it didn't absorb much paint, it looked like pretreated plaster. There was one moment that confused me a little - the board was bent. I tried this staining twice and both times it turned out (see photo). Well, to be honest, I work in mixed media, and I think that involves quite a bit of color. However, the product description expressly states that it does not deform even in this state.
