I used this to transport water out of a dehumidifier. Now I've strained it in a 5 gallon pitcher of water. One day, when I'm ambitious, I'll dig a hole in the cinder block and bricks in the basement and lead it straight out into the garden. Recently. But this little one works as described. It doesn't make much noise. When I go out there, I never hear how it works. I know it works because that jar gets filled every few days. It's a breeze to customize. First, the hose fits snugly into a 1/2" CPVC pipe with no fittings. This will be useful to know when I am arranging a permanent installation.
