Total rubbish. Exactly what you'd expect from something this cheap. Tried using this on a MacBook Pro to clone an internal SSD to an external SSD with CCC. The process kept crashing because the external SSD connected via this KingWin device kept disappearing. After that, I get a notification that the drive was not properly detached. I tried an alternative USB 3.0 cable with the same results. I then plugged the same external drive into a different manufacturer's USB 3.0 enclosure and the cloning completed without errors. This KingWin adapter never worked. It looks cheap, it feels cheap, after all it is cheap! Cheap garbage! Save yourself the hassle and stay away from this disaster. This review is for the USB 3.0 version, which currently costs $12.95 here at Revain. I just wanted to clarify this as there are multiple options listed on this page.
