Very soft and pretty
I wasn't sure about the color when I bought it, but it was exactly what I wanted. The top is velvety and very soft. The underside is also soft, but not velvety. This is the ideal weight, not light and not heavy. My daughter will be able to use it all year round in Illinois. My only complaint is that the top and bottom aren't sewn together/complete if that makes sense. If I take the blanket in the middle I can tear at the top and bottom.
