Too coarse and needs a lot of sanding
Should have read the negative reviews before purchasing. These are of very poor quality. I bought them to paint with chalk and then add wooden soccer balls to make a coaster. They are very rough and I just spent 20 minutes sanding down the indentations and smoothing out the extremely rough sides. I still have to sand before I can paint. I used to buy cheap round wooden plaques and I know they aren't perfect, but they are terrible quality. I do not recommend.
