later for $8 each, it's not cheap compared to disposable sanding pads. but they are LAST! I assume it's diamonds, the sponge wears out first. Just take a look. I love the fact that you get consistency when grinding as diamonds don't tarnish like grinding pads so start at 100 but after a few minutes you'll have a 200 grit as the grit is dull. Tried it on granite and wood and love both. I recommend.
