We only received the lock yesterday and my husband installed it fairly quickly. There was a problem with the door lock. We locked it with a key but it didn't stay locked. The only way to get the key out was to unlock it. We couldn't understand what was going on. It didn't even lock with the app or buttons. My husband turned some of them off and she said that it looks like it has the lock fully engaged. Once he did that, it worked great. Installing the app was very easy. The only downside is that a gateway is needed if you want to open the door remotely and Alexa doesn't work. Reading the reviews, some say that Alexa only works with the gateway. As soon as I buy a gateway I will update the status.
