I received the device today. It was well packaged and the product looks just as good as described. I unfolded the device, placed it on the kitchen table, set it to maximum power (#55) and let it run for 2 hours. All the while I monitored the temperature of the gasket by touch and according to the instructions it was barely warm. I thought it was supposed to be a bit warmer as it doesn't give off very much heat, it was the highest setting after all. Convert 55 Celsius to Fahrenheit = 131 degrees. It can't be that this side was at 131 degrees, so the numbers on the controller don't relate to anything. except maybe the temperature of the wall transformer. This transformer was so hot I was afraid it would catch fire so I unplugged it. Nice looking device, good price, too bad it might burn down your house. I think I'll be returning this, don't buy this unit unless your fire insurance is up to date.
