I decided on this parcel shelf. I chose it because the legs had a finished construction, like a piece of furniture, not an artificial tree stand. I was delighted with the packaging, workmanship and quality of the components. There were no rough cuts or broken edges. Assembly was easy with no tools. Additional note: I liked this shelf so much that I ordered a second one. It was also the perfect execution of a great design. No defects, easy assembly. The only thing I notice is that the plastic caps protecting the threads of each section are difficult to remove by hand. To unscrew them, you needed pliers.
