I bought a few pair of these last year at one of Ebay's largest competitors. I was having some diabetic "symptoms" with my feet as well as wanting some relief around my calf's. I had such deep impressions after wearing what might be considered "normal" socks and wanted something looser that would still stay up. The MediPEDS were exactly what I wanted. Since I also tried other diabetic socks, I had plenty until now and needed to start looking for more. After reading the reviews here on Ebay, I began to worry about what I might receive if I ordered some but, I decided to give it a try. I ordered two 4 packs and crossed my fingers. When I opened the first pack there were two of one kind and two of another as you can see in the photos. They were both in the same kind of packaging too. One kind was like I had and the other was "different". I decided to just try them both before complaining and returning.Well, needless to say as you can see by the star count, I was satisfied with the socks; both kinds. I started to give 4 stars but hey, everyone screws up sometimes. I don't really care what they look like. I only want what I want and this is it. The two that are NOT like the original are still comfortable and are actually somewhat longer. Both stay up well on my legs plenty enough to suit me. You have to expect some drift down the leg but they have never bothered me. Other socks would. I'm not sure what happened at the factory and what's the big difference is but, the socks are GREAT! The only thing that's different about the socks from the ones I bought last year was they seemed a little "thinner" and the "name" is on the bottom instead of the top. But, so far I still love them. Take the chance.You'll probably be glad you did.****APRIL 8, 2018 UPDATE**** I received this order on Jan15th. I just now opened the second pack and even though they "looked" the same as a normal MediPED (not like the weird ones), one had holes in the toe seam and another had holes in the calf stretchy part. Basically 1 pair had holes. Also noticeable on all of the socks (before & now) were a huge amount of "fluff" (cotton or whatever) coming off them until after numerous washings. I was reluctant to give them a bad review on the first pack but really, this is not good. I'm keeping the socks because now my return window has closed but, I doubt I'll ever again buy from whoever sold me these. "American Closeouts" is shown as the seller but on site it shows "Ebay" as the "shipper and seller" of the very item I purchased. I guess American Closeouts has closed out their sock inventory and let Ebay take over. Well, whoever sold me these, they sold me SECONDS I suppose. I'd really hate to think that MediPEDS quality control is this bad. Also, when I try to leave feedback for American Closeouts, I can't. I see now why the reviews were negative. I have NO Option. Can we all say together.RIP OFF! If you buy these socks, be sure and open them immediately, check them, try them on, and send them back if necessary. Don't let them get away with selling this stuff.
