I needed an internal puller for a small pilot bearing. Might be good to get a set right? Not correct. This tool is very poorly constructed with corners that won't grip and a short mandrel that will cause your fingers to bend in and out no matter how hard you tighten! After many unsuccessful attempts, I tried changing the shape of the file handle, but the fingers still bent. I ended up cutting a small hook on the end of a piece of scrap steel and welding it to the mandrel so I could use a slide hammer. It worked in about 45 seconds - it took very little effort to remove my bearing which was "impossible" with this tool. If you need to remove a smaller bearing I recommend making a tool like the one in my photos rather than buying this piece of junk.
