This camera requires connection to a license plate light, backup light and then to a compatible head unit. Do not buy this product. You can also create a rear camera from scratch. Theoretically it works, but it seems to you that the installation requires a professional installation. All in all I spent $1300 to get this camera working. It works out. But a year later I replaced it with something better and less complicated.
