Review on SCHWALBE Apple Trekking Active Black by Stephen Johnson

Picked them up for 29ers. Overall I'm impressed with the quality. I was very upset when they sent them to me in a tiny box. These tires must be shipped in their normal shape and failure to do so will affect accuracy. The wire bead was physically deformed and I had to bend it in four places on two different tires. Apart from the delivery a great tyre. I bought another set of bigger (29 x 2.35) racegaurd tires from Big Apple (another supplier), everyone agrees the big tires look a lot better. All in all great tires but a warning to cyclists. These things are smooth! Be careful around corners.
