I was looking for an air purifier for my basement as we had running water and thought it would help with the musty smell. It worked great - the air no longer smells musty. It has a place to add fragrance oil to the car that helps make the air smell better. The car has 3 speeds - I think the best is the highest, the others don't move the air much. It's very quiet - you can hardly hear it when it's on. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an air purifier.
