I bought this set of towels as a "protest purchase". I was invited to a Norwex online party with a relative. I was offended by one of the games (sales tactics) held to enter a free product raffle. You went online to a website and received a "score" for the cleaning products you use at home. All wrote of their shock and almost panic that their conventional products were rated D and F for safety. I was already frustrated by Norwex's false and misleading claims about the effectiveness of the masks they have manufactured and sold to protect against COVID. I just felt like I couldn't support Norwex because of these things, let alone the high prices! So I went online and looked for alternatives, came across the e-Cloth brand and thought the price was amazing considering how many different fabrics are in this set. I decided to try them out to see how they compare to a few Norwex wipes I've had over the years. I have used most wipes since receiving them and have been very satisfied. What I like best is the combination of a window cloth and a polishing cloth. You use a damp waffle towel to clean the window and then wipe it down with a polishing cloth. (2 are included which is nice because they actually work best when dry and get wet quickly with use). It worked great on windows and mirrors and didn't leave streaks on them. Our family loves the kitchen napkin. This works better than the bamboo and swedish kitchen rags I had to clean the counters because they absorb very well but also wring out to the point where they leave very little water (so I don't have to go back and dry my shiny counters got to). . A little unkempt corner is really useful for stuck clutter. My only criticism of the kitchen towel is that the spilled herbs got stuck in the fibers when wiping up and didn't come out when washed. (But I guess that means it can be wrapped really well!) The only fabric I don't use very often is the "stovetop" fabric, and that's only because regular kitchen fabric already works well and I do him not need a separate tablecloth for my stove.
