My husband and I like to read in bed. For years we had a light that worked well for both of us, but a few months ago the light on the side broke. I've looked in stores and online for a good replacement. After seeing the reviews on them I bought two. The matt black color perfectly complements the details of our bedside tables. To install the fasteners, we bought a ready-made molding, screwed it into the studs in the wall, and then screwed the bases for the fasteners into the molding. Luminaires are attached to the sockets with set screws. (Hardware for attaching lights is included and easy to install.) We now have cool blue night lights, as well as reading lights that can be dimmed and directed so we can enjoy reading without disturbing each other. We are very happy with this purchase.
