Wow! I love these candles. I have used timed electric candles for many years. I bought them for a few extra windows in my new house and to replace some of my old ones that are starting to fail. Love the remote control and the ability to choose 6 or 8 hours or always, as well as the dimmer and brightness options for the bulbs! They have a weighted base like my old ones. You need a fairly wide window sill. On some of my smaller window sills, I tie a piece of twine around the base and drape it over the window sash, then simply close the window with the twine to hold the candle in place. It also helps prevent accidentally falling candles from the sills. I bought 3 packs and have since ordered 2 3 more packs.
