Review on Enhance Your RV's Window Coverings with RV Designer A312 Pleated Shade Hold Downs - Durable Window Covering Hardware for an Improved RV Experience by Malik Munns

Revainrating 2 out of 5

The right spare part is far too expensive.

Just what I needed for my 2005 Winnebago Adventurer goggles. Just like the original. The problem is that they are made out of very cheap plastic that just breaks down over time. By the way, these are 4-pin cable clips. What you do is remove the outer cap - the 4 prong piece on the back - and thread the cable from the back through one of the 2 small holes in the front. Tie the cables in a knot to prevent them from being pulled out and install them on the rear mounting plate. Only partially thread the screw in as you should be able to twist the outer cap to wrap and pull the cord around it. After sufficient tightening, fully tighten the setscrew. Not too much - as you can crack the plastic. Also, the 4 prongs on the back of the cover fit into 4 holes in the plate which prevent it from rotating any further. But the main problem is their price. They're way too expensive for those little cheap plastic parts. I would give them 5 stars because they are the right, necessary part to attach the cord holders to my blinds; 3 stars for cheap plastic and 1 for overpriced. I'm sure they only cost the manufacturer 3 cents. But then charging over $5.50 for one is insane.

Cons
