I bought a refurbished unit so that could have been the problem but what a bad experience. It took two hours of fighting before it worked out of the box. Login with NetGear interface or router IP address failed. Finally logged in long enough to set it up. Couldn't connect to the Android app, refused to accept the password and kept sending me to the website to change the password. On day 5 the internet went down for an hour and the router never came back. I called tech support and spent two hours with them asking me to connect to the router and tell them some settings. I would tell them the router has no connection, nothing wired or WIFI. They said "OK, I get it, open a browser and enter the IP address to connect to the router." A complete waste of time when talking to people who know less about the web than I do . Return this product and purchase a different router from a different MFG.
