Great idea, poor execution. The swirl is great, but the tube size is not. Flow is important not only in surface movement but also in tank movement. These sprinklers are huge in diameter, almost twice if not twice the diameter of the original green tube. Even green pipes lose head pressure once the filters get a little dirty it feels like a trickle, especially with a smaller canister filter like the 2213. If you're using the 2217 in a 29 or 30 gallon tank it could the case may be ideal, otherwise not useful for your tank.
