Used for home cinema. The elevator consists of two parts. One part goes into the hole you created and the other part fits in. You run the cables and then you put them on top. We've run a three pin power plug and two HDMI cables through them and they fit and work well. You can run another cable of the same gauge. They are easy to install. I have a 2 inch hole saw and they put it to good use immediately. They will loosen up a little on their own so some glue may be required if you want to thread cables through the grommet. If not, I wouldn't worry. They might pop out when you move things, but you can just pop them back in.
