I bought these to put in the plastic bins I keep my shoes and boots in. These jars are 6" x 18" x 30" with lids. (no spilling water out of the pellet jars when full) an easier alternative. My fault. I bought 7 of these and they didn't last 3 days , nor have the pellets turned dark green indicating they need to be recharged, put into the oven as directed (all 7 at a time), tested at 3 hours and no color change, took 10 hours in the oven to charge and in less than 3 Days in my shoe boxes they were green again and need to be recharged.This time I made them one at a time,each took 3 hours to recharge in the oven.should have worked.I took them to a thrift store and bought a few more humidifier tanks that last longer than 2 weeks ks even in the wettest time of the year It was an expensive experiment my bad I just had to buy one to try it.
