This adapter is exactly as pictured and described. Lightweight and looks strong but has not yet been used in the field. I have a problem and it will cause me to order another adapter as the top of the round spanner is made of very smooth plastic. This is the part that rotates to the bottom of the camera/housing to tighten. Because it's smooth plastic, my camera/body still rotates even after tightening it with pliers. Using pliers on something like this is inappropriate and I'm sure the plastic bracket with the two prongs will eventually break. Other competitors have some kind of soft rubber/synthetic material over the round spanner. This should prevent rotation. I think I'll pick one of these and order it.
