Review on FBA_ISDA504ASV Aluminum MicroSD Adapter MacBook by Morgan Freeman

I bought this to expand the storage on my mid 2015 15" MBP which this product claims to support. This works like a cut out SD card, I put BASEQI in my MBP and it barely went in. I had to use two fingers to get it as good as possible, but it still sticks out. FWIW, that's a moot point, but I can't even get it back. Not to mention that when the microSD card is in BASEQI, it no longer shows up in Finder and not in Disk Utility. Not sure if it's because the BASEQI isn't fully connected due to a mismatch, or if they sent me a bad one, period. Anyway, I'm very disappointed as I've avoided this product for a long time. and finally decided to give it a try and this is the experience i had. For fun I used the flat end of the same spatula to try and get the BASEQI out and it came out straight. with lumps of dust on it! LOL, so that taught me to ALWAYS CHECK THE PORT FOR GARBAGE before complaining about installation issues. There was quite a bit of dust in the crack. I use the slot for large photo dumps a few times a year, so it's understandable. Removing the dust with a small brush did the trick. I now have 1TB + 256GB of physical storage on my MBP for less than $50! I really had to nudge the BASEQI to fit as completely as possible and it's still 99.99999999999%. The remaining percentage will drive me crazy but I can live with that FWIW. I am now increasing my 2 star rating to 5 stars.
