Leaked like crazy, no good way to attach tailpipe

As is it leaks like a sieve. Half of the o-ring containintg, screw tightened joints were leaking. Once I disassembled everything and thoroughly wrapped all threads with PTFE tape things stopped leaking. My other gripe is how in the hell is tailpiece supposed to connect to my sink drain pipe? Neither were threaded. I eventually strapped everything in place with metal wires, stretchy silicon tape wrapped the joints, and then thickly caulked everything.I was racking my brain and googling and…

Pros
  • Great product no tools needed very easy to install you got my business
Cons
  • The kit may not work reliably for sinks with irregular shapes or sizes

Beats the heck out of cutting and fitting PVC pipe .

Beats the heck out of cutting and fitting PVC pipe. By a landslide. But. I did have some very tight corners to turn. and I was missing a fitting. Still, it saved me a ton of time and it is working as it should. I did make sure and pull my pants down in the back, ever so slightly, to ensure a professional job.

Pros
  • Durable - Made from high-quality, strong materials, the Snappy Trap Special Kit is built to last, ensuring that you won't have to replace it any time soon
Cons
  • The product may be too bulky or large for some kitchens

but this was easy, it would have cost me $150

Okay let’s be clear, I’m not a handyman by no means, but this was easy, it would have cost me $150.00 to have someone install this in for me, it was a breeze I did it myself and you can too

Pros
  • ‎No
Cons
  • The kit may not be compatible with certain types of drain pipes or fittings

Great for Offset Sink drains

Excellent product. We bought an Elkin 60/40 split sink that had offset drains. One side was deeper than the other and after installing the deep strainer on one side and the garbage disposal on the other, it made standard plumbing a nightmare. Using this product, I had it all plumbed in and leak free within 10 minutes. It's definitely a problem solver. I wish it was a little cheaper being $40 but it's the best product I could find for what I needed.

Pros
  • Was a little diffcult to install, but saved redoing pipe coming out of wall.
Cons
  • Cheap plastic junk

easy to install, durable

I repaired my kitchen sink all by myself, very easy to follow instructions. I am a proud 68 yr old that can fix it myself! That's my review.

Pros
  • Kitchen & Bath Fixtures
Cons
  • The product is not customizable, making it difficult to adapt to different settings

Allowed Me to Use a Deep Sink in a Basement Bar

I wanted to remodel my lower level, including the bar that had a very small sink. I wanted to replace that sink with a double bowl larger sink that would be far more functional than the little 5" bar sink that was there. Unfortunately the drain line comes out of the wall high up. This system allowed me to get the larger and deeper sink in and drain properly. It really saves vertical space and works when there is a tight fit. I have not come across anything quite like it. recommend it highly…

Pros
  • ‎white,grey
Cons
  • The included hardware may not be suitable for all types of sink installations

Easy to assemble on my review.

This product solved my issue with 2 inches of vertical distance to the drain. I was planning on shortening one side, because I was going to install the sink offset from the wall drain. I watched the online video how to cut the length, attempted to separate the hose from the connector, and was unable to separate it. So I placed the sink center to the wall drain instead.

Pros
  • ‎DK-120
Cons
  • The product may not work well with sinks that have shallow basins

Awesome solution. for my opinion

Our house was built before there were garbage disposals. So the plumbing isn’t suited to one.The previous owns added one, but the plumbing was hap hazard and prone to leak. This let me tuck the pipes up out of the way, it feels really sturdy and it hasn’t leaked.

Pros
  • Drains & Strainers
Cons
  • The product may not work well in high-traffic kitchens

Made a tough job easy

Price is a bit expensive but is worth it. I had been having a tough time reinstalling plumbing after changing from a short, single sink to a deep, double sink. The problem existed due to a reduced drop height of the wall drainpipe that I had to deal with that I failed to consider at the beginning of the project. After an attempt with other drain parts (and plenty of choice language) I found this and almost immediately knew this would work. I used it with a disposal on one side and not only does

Pros
  • Kitchen Sink Accessories
Cons
  • The kit may not be a good fit for DIY-enthusiasts who are inexperienced with plumbing

it saved the day good for me

this kit saved a call to the plumber. a new sink had been installed that was deeper than the old sink, and the drain holes were in the rear, rather than in the center. however, the drain pipe went into the wall on the far right side of the sink closet, so . . . . . . . i managed to make it work, but, had there been a few more adaptive pieces, and maybe a longer length of flex, it would have been considerably easier. i would suggest adding a few parts to the kit to make it as universal as…

Pros
  • ‎Brushed
Cons
  • The kit may be incompatible with certain sink accessories like garbage disposals

Easy instaulation. in my review

This product worked perfect for what I wanted to do. We were going from a single sink to double sinks. I know this product is for double kitcken sinks. It was just what I wanted for our bathroom double sinks. With a little bit of a change, it work perfect. I just had to add two 6" extentions on each side. I also wanted P-traps on both drains, this product worked great for my applacation. I love it!

Pros
  • Tools & Home Improvement
Cons
  • The product does not come with any warranties or guarantees

Great product best in my review

These pipes took a tricky under sink situation and fixed it. My wall pipe is sort of high, and I couldnt use a normal p trap on the disposal side. This special kit was easy to install, and works great! No leaks, and both sides drain well. The flexible hose makes hooking up easy .

Pros
  • Greatest thing ever
Cons
  • The product is not eco-friendly or sustainable in any way

Fantastic solution best in my review

Remodeled an older unit kitchen. I didn't think to ask about the new sink depth. Well I onlt had 1.5" height difference between bottom of sink basket and the bottom of drain line. I new I needed a reverse P trap but it would be very tight and difficult to install. Found this and it was a perfect . I especially like that the pipes are flexable and smooth on the interior. Comforms to all plumbing codes.

Pros
  • Prevents having to lower the wall drainpipe to install plumbing for kitchen sinks in remodeling projects.
Cons
  • The product is not suitable for sinks with high water pressure

Great product good for me

This product is great! We have limited vertical space under our kitchen sink and this allowed us to keep a garbage disposal!

Pros
  • Easy install no leaks.
Cons
  • The plastic construction feels cheap and flimsy

Just what I needed: my feedback

I have very little clearance (about 3 inches) between the bottom of my sink and the height of my wall drain pipe. House was built in 1924 before standards. Traditional piping just wasn't working. This easy to install kit solved my drain problems. I highly recommend it if you are in the same situation. Saved me tons of money not having to get a plumber to lower the drain inlet.

Pros
  • ‎Coflex
Cons
  • The kit may not be suitable for kitchens with limited counter space

Makes sink plumbing a breeze!

The snappy trap is a wonderful invention for folks who don't want to deal with parts that don't fit, have to be cut, or glued. This cut my plumbing time by more than half! I love that it's flexible, so if you make a mistake in measurements or decide to route another way, it still works!

Pros
  • Awesome part, I was able to fix my plumbing needs with this!
Cons
  • The kit comes with limited installation hardware, which may require additional trips to the store

Exactly what I needed

Works well and is quite easy to use. The length is a bit adjustable (flexibility makes it easy to make it fit). No leaks, and no issues.

Pros
  • Adapts to installations with waste disposals that meet the min. 2" height requirement (see diagram)
Cons
  • The kit requires a significant amount of time and effort to install correctly

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Poor solution: my feedback

"flex" sections have very little give and may as well be solid. Ended up throwing this kit to the side and using parts from home depot

Pros
  • Improves Drainage - With its unique design, the Snappy Trap Special Kit ensures that your sink drains quickly and efficiently, making clean-up a breeze
Cons
  • The kit may be difficult to remove and reinstall if necessary

Best-ever solution for odd drain configurations!

I had tried a handful of configurations of pvc drain pieces for my kitchen sink over several years, but none was satisfactory. My wall (drain) outflow is positioned very high and very near to the sink drains (front to back). This system made the task much, much simpler. Highly recommended!

Pros
  • Reduces Clogs - The Snappy Trap Special Kit prevents clogs by trapping debris, allowing water to flow freely down the drain
Cons
  • The kit may not be well-suited for industrial or commercial kitchens
