Review on Snappy Trap Special Kit For Double Kitchen Sinks With Limited Vertical Distance Between Sink Strainers And Wall Drainpipe by George Evans

Leaked like crazy, no good way to attach tailpipe

As is it leaks like a sieve. Half of the o-ring containintg, screw tightened joints were leaking. Once I disassembled everything and thoroughly wrapped all threads with PTFE tape things stopped leaking. My other gripe is how in the hell is tailpiece supposed to connect to my sink drain pipe? Neither were threaded. I eventually strapped everything in place with metal wires, stretchy silicon tape wrapped the joints, and then thickly caulked everything.I was racking my brain and googling and utubing to figure out how I am supposed to make this connection. Do I blame the drain for not having threads? I don't know, but this little shortcoming delayed my use of my sink for two days: one day to get the silicon stretchy tape and another day to let the caulk dry.Everything fit into place quite well in the limited space I had under my sinks, but the stupid leaking and no way to connect the tail piece really grinds my gears
