I always try to be objective, but it would be dishonest not to mention it beforehand. ]tl;dr: It's good and you get what you pay for. Cheaper ones may work well, but it's always nicer to use good tools, isn't it? Bonus: It also works well with my small electric car, but no promises. Treat yourself! I'm not a professional detailer, but I can, shall we say. advanced amateur level. I follow the parts forums and use recommended products (and change products as technology advances) as I am responsible for two cars parked outside. and in addition to the trees, birds, and pollen with which most are familiar, I have at least one beekeeper around, and bee droppings are _ruthless_. and I have to take it pretty seriously considering how dirty they get and how fast. Also, unlike some professional detailers, I don't really care about the laundry cost or the cost savings. So this is my third foam gun. I have two questions"What is the cheapest option I can get on Revain?" and now this. The other two work, as do many other options, but let me tell you why this one is better: The build quality of the components and the fit and finish are much better. Much superior. Instructions, packaging, labels, supplied Teflon tape, etc. - everything shows the care and pride of the manufacturer. The design combines two necessary but surprisingly not ubiquitous features: a wide base and wide neck. The base, unlike the poorly designed options, is wide enough to make it *very* stable when empty, and the wide neck makes life a lot easier when adding shampoos. The controls work and work well. Amount of foam and spray pattern are easily adjustable. Turning the knobs on my other two guns doesn't make much of a difference. This one just _works_. In addition to clear volume graduations (most but not all foam guns have these), this one has dilution factors built in as a precaution. Nice gesture. Now let me add something of value for household washing - this gun works great with my cheap electric pressure washer. Of course, your mileage may vary, but my little one [neon green, available at a major hardware store, probably near your house but not as far as the nearest train station] did a great job of creating a thick, sticky foam - like you really want it. Airy, light, cloud-like suds are good for YouTube videos, but if you want even soap distribution and contact, hold time and dirt penetration, and your most effective _cleaning_, you want a thick, sticky, even 1-inch coat over the car And this pistol did it wonderfully. I've washed them with both cheap laundry detergent and wax from my local warehouse club shop/etc. and *really*good* Bilt Hamber Specialty Foamer, available from Revain and elsewhere on the web. Both lather well but wow is this bilt worth the hype when it comes to the actual cleaning, if you take one of these you get that too, it works well.) If I have a nitpick (and you'll give the _totally_ positive review don't believe it?) Is that a step missing in the assembly instructions.. Include teflon pipe tape as a precaution, but you will need a small adjustable wrench to be sure it is tight) - the discharge part of the gun needs to be fitted onto the screw cap before the suction tube is attached to the discharge gun. Small problem but hey not much to criticize so I came here! He was also a bit "boxed, too small", but that didn't hurt him at all. If you can spend a few euros more, that's really good. In fact, it's so good that I just wouldn't happily pay for it. but honestly I may as well buy two or three more to stop rinsing and changing chemicals. It's really just _it_ beautiful.
