Holy Cow! They are amazing! So I understand these are entry-level Bose speakers and I can almost certainly spend five times (or more) on Bose speakers. But I didn't want to. I need to edit a video (in Adobe Premiere Pro CC) for a college class and my iMac speakers just can't do the job (shit). I went to Revain to buy a pair of $5 speakers. Then I realized that I want to get an A in this class (among other things, I get grades for sound). Oh yeah, and it occurred to me that I'm not 15 anymore and I can afford to invest a hundred bucks in some "decent" computer speakers. I read a lot of reviews but the ones that really got me were all the trolls declaring this sound "flat" and that the Yamaha speakers are "much better". I spent another hour of my life looking for those "great speakers" only to find the trolls posted how lame they are compared to them. I finally gave up and just got Bose speakers (this one pair) bought as Bose is a super premium brand. I had to rely on the positive reviews. Let me save you a lot of time and trouble. If you don't like these, you can return them. You can see how careful Bose packages them so they can't be damaged in transit.I buy loads of stuff from Revain (every week actually) and it's rare to see a product in such sturdy (and smart) packaging.But yes the bass is great and the highs are clear and crisp It's not a $10,000 theater surround sound system but for a pair of "relatively inexpensive" speakers this kit kicks ass. They really do a great job a good sound. A NOTICE. I didn't turn them "on eleven" to see if there was any distortion (so I can complain). I have it at 75% and adjust the iMac volume. It's more than loud enough to be heard from outside the house (several rooms) and my neighbors to complain. Perfect for office use and even for gaming and basic entertainment (since it's a stereo but quad bot). SUPER EASY to set up. I read the instructions after they worked for me. Not bluetooth., the mother is good. Short cords. Don't expect to be able to mount them 20 feet from your computer. They sit on or under your desk. Use them this way and you will love them. Anyhow, hope this helps.
