Review on Autosol Polish Alumium Polishing Clothes by Eric Pruett

I recently used Autosol to hand polish the blade of a Damascus steel kitchen knife. I have tried both very fine grit chrome oxide paper and very fine grit aluminum oxide paper with oil in the past. Both left the fog. After a few applications of Autosol and vigorous hand buffing with paper towels, the haze was reduced. Further applications have resulted in a new shiny appearance. I ordered this new tube straight away but haven't opened it yet, and maybe not for long as a little bit goes a long way. I expect the fabric to make buffing easier. On an electric buff, this material gives planing and chiseling a stunning edge. For the technique, see David Weaver's "Woodcentral" article from 08/19/2020.
