Big light, small bulb

We have beautifully lit ceiling fans. Sometimes these lightbulbs burn out. Replacement is a little more difficult than a standard bulb. Be sure to wear rubber/latex/nitrile gloves as the oil from your skin will create a hot spot on the bulb, causing it to burn out much faster. We learned this the hard way. However, if installed correctly, they will last for years.
