Purchased with the goal of putting it to use during workouts on an Oxygen T12 treadmill. As I sit here wired in, it gives me a readout of the heart rate. The pulse was simultaneously shown on the phone and the track. As soon as I begin jogging, my phone's pulse indicator begins to rise; but, when I'm on the track, it displays approximately half as much and disappears intermittently. I also put it through its paces on a different song, Harizen Adventure 5. When the runner reaches the middle of the moving belt, the signal and the pulse both begin to fade for the same reason. I've forwarded it to the SC; what happens next is out of my hands. shows the pulse clearly and steadily from only half a meter distant from the track console. So far, it hasn't lived up to expectations. taken from where the service center is situated. The repairman put his working range on one piece of paper at one meter, and on another at seventy centimeters. He asked the repairman to show him how everything worked from a distance of one meter, but the man refused to pay him. But, the repairman insisted that everything works as intended and that I am welcome to check it out for myself and file a complaint with whoever I see fit as this is the only SC in Hong Kong. You can skip this step if you plan on buying it for a significant quantity of gymlink simulators. The transmitter's limited strength means it can only send and receive signals with the simulator when the two are in close proximity to one another (70 centimeters). What the developers were thinking when they made that simulator-incompatible defect is beyond me. What they were thinking, I simply cannot fathom. If the sensor is hung on the edge of the track, it will only derail itself between two and four times in thirty minutes of operation. It appears that the sensor's antennae are situated wrongly, or that the ones that radiate forward do not work, because the readings are only communicated from a very near distance if you hang it straight forward. The readings will be communicated if you hang it vertically. After thirty minutes of operation, it repeatedly drops its Bluetooth connection when it comes into contact with the phone. When water boils, the heart rate drops suddenly, by as much as 1.5-2 times its normal rate. I made a post on the off-site where a response is guaranteed, yet I never received a reply. Hence, I can tell you that the sensor's poor connection makes it unwise to bring it with you whenever you engage in activities dependent on your heart rate, such as running on a treadmill. Polar's Hong Kong support center is so terrible that I'll never contemplate buying a Polar product.
