Our Lab German Shepherd/Chow Chow mix is getting old and recently started slipping on our hardwood floors resulting in a slipped disc in his back . We bought carpets but we can't cover the whole floor. After a long research I finally bought it and he and I were immediately satisfied. He has no idea which way is the safest for him to reach his goal. After reading the reviews I trimmed the pads and trimmed his fur before putting them on and I'm very glad I did. I bought the XXL and might have thrown away the XL after cutting it, but I'm still happy with the sizing as each pad is different. We are on our second day and the two pieces looked like they would come loose this morning but after all day they are still attached. I'm still not looking forward to raining down and seeing how quickly they come off, but that's expected from something sticky, so there's not much you can do about it.
