Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Rear Air Bags fitted my 2008 Silverado 1500 with ease. 3" blocks on the rear. Installed air bags with a 2- "Gasket. The Air Lift only has 2" and 4" steel spacers so it was difficult to decide which one to fit. The ride height at a minimum pressure of 5psi is 1/4" higher, just as it would be without them, which is good it seems adding 20-25psi per 1000lb load is the right thing 25-30psi for 1000lb 35-40psi for 1500 and 45-50psi for 2000lb I never load more than 2000 pounds so as not to overload the axle.Airbags restore level and stability under heavy loads.Drives and drives better with heavy loads and no longer blinds other drivers with heavy loads at night.
