Review on AlorAir Commercial Dehumidifier Basements Industry by Jae Pistono

Well made and practical

I bought this unit mainly because it allows you to add an air duct and a remote control. I have a main basement of about 600 square feet with utility rooms at each end. With this device I can place it in one of the utility rooms and pipe it into the main room. So we can enjoy the basement without the dehumidifier running in it. Although the device is fairly quiet, it gets even quieter when placed in the next room. And if we're going to be away for a long time, we can simply leave the back room door open. I like that the remote is powered by the humidity in the room rather than the dehumidifier input and is also easy to control. The remote control can also come in handy when you need to turn the device in such a way that it is difficult to read the information on the panel, as the device can be facing one way or the other depending on where it is placed facing the wall. your viewport. The device also comes with a clear hose which I find useful for removing water. Our unit is about 12 inches off the floor and first I just drop the hose to the floor and then it should rise about 3 inches to exit the basement and go outside. With the clear hose, I could see the water accumulated in the hose. I redesigned the drain to have a gradual slope (the manual has some suggestions) and it works great. The device is delivered well packaged, box in box - therefore the chance of damage is minimal. The instructions say to wait 2 hours if the block can't stay upright, but I'd recommend waiting all night once you've placed the block the way you want it.
