These shoes are BIG but very comfortable. They appear to be well made and a good weight. Ankle room is small so my daughter appreciated the extra room with a shoe that was still comfortable, snug and not too flexible/chunky. We bought a size 7 and they fit my 10ft size just right. I think they are about two sizes too big. My daughter is a size 7.5 and normally wears a size up to a size 8, but I was lucky that we followed the size chart and went down a size instead. I will include a picture of these size 7 shoes next to size 7.5 shoes so you can see the difference. In general, we recommend taking these shoes, but going down one size is MANDATORY.
