After owning this product for 10 months I decided to let others know how this tablet is working for me. The touchscreen stopped responding yesterday; making the tablet pretty much useless. After contacting support they suggested a factory reset which I did but the touchscreen was unresponsive. Hoping their one-year warranty would cover me (as listed on devices on their website; displayed on their homepage), I was told the opposite. Apparently they only cover 180 days. Needless to say, I'm outraged by this whole situation as I've only ever used one tablet at home; Streaming TV, mobile app games, bill payments and web browsing. I haven't even taken the protective screen out of the box (until I took it off yesterday, hoping that would make the touch surface unresponsive, which turned out not to be the case at all). Of course it is. It was great when it worked. Why did the touchscreen suddenly catch fire and die after only 10 months of ownership? I have no idea. I've definitely never mishandled the device (I'm an adult, no kids in the house) and yes, I've had a protective case for it since day one too. In any case, I hope this helps others in their decision to buy this particular device. tablet from this company. Hope you have better luck than me. Now I have a glorified paperweight.
