Strong, very strong. Perfect size for my space. I was able to assemble it by myself. Took several hours (but only because I was so distracted by Shitts Creek). One star deducted because the back was really difficult to place correctly on its own, both because the instructions for it were very difficult to decipher, and because it's a thin cardboard back. It sucks because everything else is so great. None of them are deal breakers, just annoying. Thinking about getting another one in black for the dining room bar.
