Review on Enhanced SEO: Quirky Rummikub with Original Retro-Styled Numbers by Matthew Coste

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Nice retro design

I grew up playing Rummikub at my school's board game club. Of course, it's not a board game per se, but who's counting? I remember buying my own copy of Rummikub when I was 13 years old at the grocery store. Can you even buy such games in the supermarket? Who knows. But the box mine came in looked like a flashy and soulless design from the early 2000s. On the other hand, this model dates back to when the Rummikub became popular in the 60's or 70's I think. No more hiding your ugly Rummikub box in your closet for fear of embarrassing your whole family with a useful design that looks more like a cereal box than a game. This box stands proud on my shelf and looks like it came straight out of a time machine. I know retro stuff is "in" right now, but this just looks how Rummikub was always meant to look. Designers just don't make packaging like this anymore. If you're looking to buy a Rummikub set for yourself or a friend, you've probably already fallen in love with this game, which I think was inspired by Gin Rummy and borrowed from games like Tile. Dominoes and mahjong. You can't go wrong with it in terms of price or looks. I think this book will become a family heirloom and be passed down from generation to generation. Now I just need an heir...
