First of all. This is definitely NOT a premium slicing and slicing printer. It's not wireless, it doesn't fax, it doesn't copy and it probably doesn't print a hundred pages at a time. He just lies there. But if I need to print out my boarding pass, my Groupon receipts, everything I need on paper, everything is fine. I gave it 5 stars because it works perfectly for what I use it for! And it prints the crisp prints I need, and the colors look pretty decent. I can't comment on the life of the cartridge as I don't use it that often. I haven't changed the cartridge yet, so I have no idea. I'm usually a bells and whistles person, but what I really needed was the convenience of "turn on, load paper, print, period". My daughter has a really good wireless fax machine etc etc in her home office across the hall. Half the time it's offline, won't connect to my computer, or has some other crazy little bug that makes it useless to me. This was the perfect answer for me to meet my fairly basic needs. Sometimes less is more. I would buy it again when I've used it enough to wear it.
