I received this capture device and I couldn't seem to capture video with the SVideo cable and software that came with it, but I was able to with the yellow composite cable. I clicked and didn't see anything obvious, so I went to the StarTech website and tried clicking the chat button. It was 10pm Monday on the west coast, I didn't think it would work this late. No, the guy came over 2 minutes later and told me what to do. (Click on the sliders that simulate bass/treble frequencies). He was in London Ontario so at 1:00 am it was pretty impressive that they were open 24 hours a day 5 days a week! The device works great and captures old VHS and SVHS videos as I type!
