I have a special relationship with the "heavenly” design of products, so the stars and moons were the first to catch my attention. I was a bit skeptical about the scratcher feature as my experience has shown that these hybrid products don't work that well. But I didn't have to worry. After I unpacked the tunnel and laid it out on the floor, one of my cats parked in it for at least an hour and the others checked it out afterwards, although they didn't spend that much time. Everything is made out of plush materials and I think that's why they like it so much. Overall this is an exceptionally well made tunnel and the pig ends are a lot heavier and stronger than I thought they would be. None of my cats have tested them yet (probably because they get THOUSANDS of opportunities to scratch in the same room I put them in), but I'm sure they're strong enough for most cats. The scratching material is a woven sisal bound around wood and will withstand the knocks of most cats despite being a bit small, especially if your cat likes to stretch vertically to scratch. I haven't tried yet. I checked the glow properties of the fabric as the light stays on most of the night in the room I have it in, but I will update this review if I get to test it in the future and there is something important to report . , this is a much nicer and more attractive product than I imagined when I ordered it. Five rave stars.
